Matchday Experience 1. FC Köln
Immerse yourself in Cologne’s football culture and experience a Bundesliga matchday just as the real fans do.
This experience is more than just a visit to the stadium – it’s your gateway to the passion, traditions and unique atmosphere surrounding 1. FC Köln.

What to expect
Your matchday begins at a traditional Cologne brewery and a popular meeting place for FC fans before kick-off. Over a few Kölsch beers and hearty Cologne fare, you’ll feel the atmosphere slowly building as I tell you exciting and legendary stories about the club and its fans.
We’ll then head over to the RheinEnergieStadion together, where you can already feel the fans’ energy before the match even starts. Once there, you’ll have time to look around or perhaps buy an FC scarf as a souvenir before taking your seat in the main stand – with a perfect view of the action.
Just before kick-off, emotions run high: when the anthem “Mer stonn zo dir, FC Kölle” rings out, the whole stadium raises its scarves and the Südkurve then strikes up the first chants, you’ll get goosebumps.
Then come 90 minutes of Bundesliga football – loud, intense and full of emotion. Win or lose, you’ll understand why this club is more than just football for many people in Cologne.
